Dr. Owens

Certified Laser Technician and Licensed Esthetician
Dr. Owens is a talented aesthetic injector who is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She did her residency training at the Baylor College of Medicine affiliated hospitals, including training at MD Anderson cancer center, The Methodist Hospital and the Ben Taub Harris County Hospital. She has extensive training in facial plastic reconstructive surgery.  Dr. Owens graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Lake Forest College then graduated medical school from Baylor College of Medicine in 1987. She completed a 2 year general surgery internship, followed by her head and neck training. She has been practicing medicine for over 30 years.  Over 20 years ago, Dr. Owens took her intimate experience and anatomic knowledge of the face -from skin to soft tissue and underlying bony structures-and combined this with her artistic talents. 

She began treating aesthetic clients not in the fad styles of the moment but to achieve a natural healthy appearance. Her approach is to sit down with each client and discuss what are their individual aesthetic goals. She then educates her client on what services are available and what would be most helpful for them. 

Dr. Owens was the owner and Medical Director of her own aesthetic practice in Texas for over 20 years. In 2021, she was recruited to join Santa Ana Skin Care clinic where she now serves as the Medical Director. Santa Ana Skin Care represents the official Santa Fe office of destinations medical group.

Dr. Owens has been a judge and technical official for United States figure skating events for nearly 25 years. In addition to raising five children, she raised over 100 puppies during the pandemic. In Santa Fe, she enjoys hiking skiing and ceramics.
 

Elizabeth Morper

Certified Laser Technician and Licensed Esthetician

Elizabeth Morper is a laser certified technician and a licensed esthetician since 2014. In addition, she has a long list of qualifications from top class institutions. She graduated from Aveda Douglas J Institute in Ann Arbor, Michigan with a Cosmetology and Esthetician license. Elizabeth completed her laser technician certification with the National Laser Institute, Arizona. She has a passion for aesthetics, skincare, and is committed to helping her patients achieve their goals. She loves building relationships with her clients and has developed a loyal following.

Kelly Rivera

(MSN, FNP-BC, RNFA, CNOR)

Kelly Rivera is a native New Mexican and Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico in 2007. She has a comprehensive background in surgical nursing, working in the operating room for the past sixteen years and specializing in orthopedics. Kelly then went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University in 2019 and continues to work in orthopedic surgery part time. Kelly has always had a particular interest in aesthetic medicine as a natural extension of her abilities in the surgical setting. Kelly has earned certifications in Botox and dermal filler injections and has been injecting for the last four years in Albuquerque at a private practice. Kelly’s eye and attention to detail assist her in making recommendations for injectables as well as other aesthetic treatments Santa Ana Skin Care offers.
